We all pass our iPad or iPhone to our kids to keep them quiet, but long do they spend on it? Written and developed by parents for parents, Time's Up for Kids is an app that allows you to set limits on the amount of time children use an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. This app provides an easy way to manage your children's usage of iOS devices. Simply set a time length using the circular scroll wheel, press start and pass the device to your children. After the time expires, a series of notifications will hinder the children from using the device until you enter the correct passcode. If you have more than one child, you can create a new user and monitor the usage for each child, as weekly sessions are recorded. ****** Set up of the device is critical to ensure smooth operation, failure to do so will result in poor performance. ****** - By default the passcode is 1234 and this can be changed in the settings menu. - Add your email in the app, so we can email you your passcode if you forget it. - Ensure that you have set the notification for the app on your device to "Alerts". A notification is the pop-up you get on your iOS device which you need to push a button to progress, whereas a banner is the notification you get at the top of the screen which then goes away. If banner is set as the alert, this app will not function effectively.
